- Fitting the chargepointWe isolate the board, run the dedicated circuit, mount the 7.4kW unit and terminate the tails. The old three pin lead is left out of the circuit.
- Test, first charge and paperworkWe test the circuit and the unit, start a charge if the car is on site, then hand over the certificate and show you the isolator.

Do I need a new fuse board for a charger?
Not always. Many Colchester and Witham houses can take a dedicated charger on the existing consumer unit. If the board is full or lacks the right RCD, we price a board change separately from £450.
Will you deal with the electricity network?
We tell you when the chargepoint needs a notice or an upgrade at the street. Network work is not inside the £750 starting price.
Can you fit a charger on a rented house?
Yes, with the landlord's say so. We leave the circuit marked and the certificate with the property so the next tenant can see what was fitted.
Do you fit commercial or forklift chargers on this visit?
The 7.4kW unit here is for a house or small premises. Forklift charger installation starts from £700 and is a separate booking.
